Where has the last 12 weeks gone!!!

Hi Everyone, Sorry it has been a while been very busy with our little girl. Where have the last 12 weeks gone. It just seems like yesterday I was giving birth to her. How our life's have changed. Where has my little girl gone she has gone from a tiny little baby to now fitting in 3 to 6 clothes. Time seems like it's going so fast. She has changed in so many ways. Here are 12 things that have changed or that I find are life savers. 1. Muslin square - these are amazing for mopping up dribble, sick and even great for playing hide and seek with. Eliza loves to cuddle a muslining. 2. You have to try and be brave if you have a little one. I hate spider any shape or form and I'm still scared now but if one was to land on her I would have to man up and get it off her. 3. Having a cup of tea or a hot baths are things that you appericate. Normally you would get in the shower or bath and spend however long in there. But once you have a kid it soons changes. When you have a bath and can relax for a few hours you appericate it. When you used to be able to make a cup of tea and finish it to only drinking half. 4. Taking pictures of a Eliza is one of my daily routines now I just can't stop myself. I always end up taking more then one picture of the same thing. 5. Our living room has changed into a toy shop with all the toys she has rattles, teething toys, teddies, play mat in the middle of the room and many more things. 6. I do worry sometimes when I'm out with Eliza in case she gets really upset and I can't settle her as I hate people who just look at you to make you feel bad or to make u feel like your doing something wrong. 7. One thing I can say is that it is okay not to be ok. We all have days where we are emotional, upset or just generally down. 8. I have learnt that you do things your own way and not how everyone else tells you. You will always find in life that someone will judge you on what you do. Just do what you think is best. 9. How your voice changed from a normal voice to speaking like a baby to make Eliza smile or laugh. 10. How your life changes when you have baby from going from do things you want to do. To doing stuff with Eliza taking her to play groups, meeting up with other mums and taking her out to settle her. 11. When I was pregnant with Eliza we brought her a night projector which had a mixture of lullaby's on. At first we used the heart beat sound which used to settle her but as she got a little older that doesn't work as much at the moment she likes listening to sound of water running. So when we put her down every night we will put that one. We also found that white noise and shh sounds works well. I do believe this has helped us a lot in settling her when she doesn't want to go to sleep.

12. Sleeping during the day. Eliza doesn't really like sleeping during the day. She will go down for about 10 minutes and then be awake again. She doesn't really like sleeping in a moses basket for longer then 10 minutes during the day but loves to sleep on a bean bag. When she is asleep on the bag she will sleep for about an hour if not a little bit longer.

My life has changed so much since having Eliza. I wouldn't change it for the world I love being a mum to her. Being a mum is an amazing felling. I have enjoyed the last 12 weeks but I wish time would slow down as she is getting bigger. When you became a parent you taking a bit commitment your life changes from going out on Saturday night to have a Saturday night in front of the tv in pjs having cuddles. I love being a mum it's the best thing ever. Eliza has changed so much in a short amount of time. From her waking up crying sometimes to her waking up and smiling at you. When I'm having one of them days all I have to do is look at Eliza smiling and that makes me feel a lot better.
