ACTIVITY FOR CHILDREN – SALT DOUGH

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for taking the time to vote on my poll on what blogs you would like to see. I have come up with some idea and will be posting new blogs within the next couple of weeks.

Today I’m going to do a blog about an activity that you can do with your children. This activity I really enjoy doing myself. This activity will keep your children entertained for hours. Salt dough is very easy to make.

How to make salt dough:

What you will need:

1 Cup of Flour

1 Cup of Salt

½ Cup of Water

Ingredients:

1. Place the flour and salt into a bowl and mix together.

2. Then slowly add the water to the mix do this slowly as you don’t want to add to much water. If you do add to much you can always add more flour.

3. Knead the mixture into a ball and then get creating.

Once your child has created an object you can let the object dry over night or you can put it in the oven middle shelf at 150/160c for about 45 minutes depending on how thick the item is. Just check the item every 10 minutes or so.

Once you have removed the decorations from the oven allow to cool. Once the decorations are cold your child can then paint them.
